Pamela Swanson, Ed.D.,SPHR, is a visionary leader and seasoned educator with over three decades of transformative leadership experience. As the former Superintendent of Westminster Public Schools, Dr. Swanson spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives that redefined educational excellence, including the district’s nationally recognized transition to a Competency-Based System. Her strategic leadership has been celebrated with numerous accolades, including the 2020 Colorado Superintendent of the Year, the 2019 North Metro Woman of the Year, and the 2018 Cognia Excellence in Education Award.
Dr. Swanson’s career is marked by her dedication to fostering innovation, equity, and excellence in education. Her expertise in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and human resources has driven systemic improvements, from developing performance systems to launching professional development programs that empowered thousands of educators and staff.
Now retired from her role as superintendent, Dr. Swanson continues to inspire and empower leaders through her podcast, the entrustED, which explores strategies for building trust and driving success in leadership. She holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
